Finance Officer – Skyjack Sweden

Are you looking for a broad finance role in an international environment where accuracy, collaboration, and business support are key? Skyjack is now looking for a Finance Officer to join our Swedish office.

In this role, you will provide efficient and effective accounting and administrative support for the Swedish & Scandinavian operation, working closely with the EMEA finance organization. The position reports to the Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post accurate and timely accounting entries including purchase and sales invoices, expenses, wages, accruals, and adjustments
  • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns and process payments via government platforms
  • Manage the tax service account and upload tax returns and payments as required
  • Prepare commercial invoices for export equipment
  • Perform customer credit checks and manage credit approval processes
  • Prepare reports for consolidation
  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including filing and record keeping
  • Support the Parts Supervisor with customer orders, system uploads, delivery coordination, and delivery notes
  • Support the Sales Manager with daily sales reporting and preparation for conference calls
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, internal policies and quality, environmental, and health & safety standards
  • Contribute to Lean initiatives, continuous improvement, and 5S within the department

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Swedish
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
  • Willingness to learn new systems and continuously develop financial knowledge
